Q: How do I teach sight words to beginners or teach reading to beginners?

A: I love this topic! New learners are right in the developmental stage in which their right hemisphere is rapidly developing. What this means for us as parents and teachers is that the most efficient way to teach sight words to beginners or to teach reading to beginners is through pictures, body movement, story, metaphor, humor, color and more! This is why Child1st exists as a company. Once we found out how effective these teaching vehicles are with beginners and with other older visual learners, we were on fire!
